Training and Experience

I am a board certified social worker and psychoanalyst with more than 16 years of experience and 8 years of post-masters training in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I have held positions in non-profit leadership and provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals. My private practice is in Seattle's Eastlake neighborhood.

My professional work is founded on a vision of self-actualization and thriving for all people. I work with my patients to alleviate many human concerns including depression, creative blocks, trauma, anxiety, relationship problems, identity and existential questions, among others. I focus on the person within the context of the environment and strive to provide responsive therapy to those of all backgrounds and orientations.

While completing my master's degree in clinical social work from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, my principal clinical practicum was at the University of Washington's Harborview Medical Center. Since obtaining my master’s degree, I have completed advanced training in psychoanalysis through the Seattle Psychoanalytic Society and Institute where I am currently on Faculty.  I am fluent in English and Spanish. To ensure you are given the best clinical care, I participate in on-going professional training and consultation.
